PLanned ACtivity Details

High Ropes Challenges: Ready to test your skills? Take on Camp Newaygo’s rock wall, featuring four unique sides and climbing routes for beginners and experienced climbers alike. Looking for an extra thrill? Head to the Zipline Loop! Soar through the trees to the bridge, switch lines, and zip your way back to where you started.

Pontoon Boat Rides: Climb aboard Camp Newaygo’s pontoon for a relaxing ride around Pickerel Lake. Take in the sights and sounds of fall and enjoy the changing colors around camp. Before or after your ride, cozy up by a roaring lakeside campfire and soak in the season.

Trolley Rides: Hop on Camp Newaygo’s open-air trolley for a classic fall ride—with comfortable benches instead of hay bales! As you travel around camp, your guide will share stories, lead fun songs, and probably sneak in a corny pun or two. Pro tip: Sign up when you arrive! Trolley rides fill up quickly.

Archery: No trip to Camp Newaygo is complete without a stop at the archery range! Take aim at our spooky seasonal targets and see how close you can get to the bullseye. While you wait for your turn, warm up around the nearby campfire and enjoy the fall atmosphere.

Pumpkin Painting :Get creative and bring a little piece of Costumes and Campfires home with you! Choose your favorite pumpkin from our pumpkin patch and transform it into a colorful creation for your front porch. We recommend making pumpkin painting one of your first stops so your masterpiece has plenty of time to dry before you head home.

Campfire Treat and Cider: Warm up around the campfire and make yourself a delicious campfire treat! You’ll also have a chance to try your hand at an old-fashioned cider press and enjoy fresh-pressed cider. Both a campfire treat and cider are complimentary with admission.

Concessions for Sale: Need something a little heartier? Stop by Ridge Catering’s concessions booth for a variety of family-friendly food and snacks available for purchase.
