NCCS Camp Newaygo’s waterfront is
getting a face-lift from a small group of campers who are making a BIG
DIFFERENCE!
This year during the weekend of August
16 you can support NCCS Camp
Newaygo from anywhere in the world by taking part in e-motion.
E-motion is a
bike/blade/walk/rock-a-thon to buy additional new dock for NCCS Camp Newaygo's
waterfront. A new diving platform and 50 ft. of new dock has already been
purchased thanks to the 20 plus campers that has taken the e-motion challenge in
the past.
E-motion asks you to bike, blade, or
walk for three miles or rock for three hours sometime during the weekend of
August 16th. You can do your activity by yourself or with friends or family. You
just need to collect donations to support your e-motion activity. The money
raised from e-motion will help NCCS Camp Newaygo reach the shore with the new
dock.
The three people who raise the most
money will each receive a $50 gift certificate to the NCCS Camp Newaygo store.
Two second place winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the NCCS
Camp Newaygo store.
This is the fourth year for this camp
fundraiser. Last year alums, campers, and their families had a great time
biking, blading, walking, and rocking during the event weekend.
