Camp Newaygo will work with you to design a program to fit your needs. Are you looking for a focus on nature and the environement? Teambuilding? Recreation? A little bit of everything? G3 (Get Outside! Get Environmental! Go Green!)
Camp Newaygo has partnered with the Muskegon River Watershed (MRWA) to offer a day of enviormental education at Camp Newaygo. Through funds from the Fremont Area Community Foundation, classes in Newaygo County can spend the day at camp learning about adaptations, resources, and the water cycle. Students can spend time with instructors from the MRWA and other trained environmental experts who provide educational stations for learning about things like what a watershed is, renewable and non-renewable resources, pollution, rain gardens and many other topics. This program is available to any interested schools and can be tailored for grades 3-12.
