ACA is a non-profit organization that has a national accredidation process and is a great resource for families and camps.

MRWA- Muskegon River Watershed Assembly
The MRWA works to protect and preserve the Muskegon River Watershed.  NCCS Camp Newaygo serves on it's education committe working to inform the watershed about the importance of a healthy watershed. 

Children & Nature Network
The Children & Nature Network (C&NN) was created to encourage and support the people and organizations working worldwide to reconnect children with nature. C&NN provides access to the latest news and research in the field and a peer-to-peer network of researchers and individuals, educators and organizations dedicated to children's health and well-being.
